Do you have a critical voice?

Do you ever have a niggly, critical voice in the back of your head telling you that you aren’t good enough?

I’d say it’s likely you do because it’s a pretty normal phenomenon.

This voice can actually hold us back from getting on in life and make us feel miserable. The trouble is it can sound very convincing and it thinks it knows best. The good news is that we are not powerless over it.

So here’s a tip to help you combat it:

Start a smile jar😊

Just take a jar – an empty coffee jar is fine.

Then every time something goes well for you, you get a compliment or when you’ve stepped out of your comfort zone, write it down and pop it in your Smile Jar.

Anything positive, no matter how small.

And you’ll be surprised how quickly it fills.

Then, when you’re having a bad day, you have a physical reminder that actually, you’re pretty cool!

It’s fast, free and effective so you might want to give it a go?

What’s your way of challenging your niggly voice? Let me know below.
